I like this quote. Even if fairies and dragons and mythical stuff like only exists in your mind, that's fine. He's basically trying to say that imagination is important. Albert Einstien said the same thing. Infact he said that imagination is more important then knowledge, in which I agree with as well. Honestly I think that if you are happy in life, then it doesn't matter what you do or how you think, your enjoying life which is something everyone should be doing. And it doesn't matter how you enjoy life, as long as your enjoying life.

This quote blew up my mind. Literally. I don't even know what to say.  Is 4 always 4 for everyone? Well literally it should, because 4 is a number, but I just don't understand what he's trying to say. Is the light that prisoners think of the same light that lights up our world? The only thing I can think for that one is maybe prisoners think of a happy place and a happy world, the same one we might live in. Have you wondered what color April is to the ailing? Well I can say I haven't wondered that, and wondering it now I come up with nothing. I think this quote is extreamely difficult to come up with logical conclusions honestly.

Nelson Mandela

This is my favorite quote I've blogged about so far. I think this is VERY true. Every person has fear, even if they don't show it, and the ones who can rise about their fear are the ones with courage. I know from my MMA fighting experience that fear will get you messed up in a fight. You have to keep calm, even if you take a hard hit, even if your dizzy, no matter what, keep calm and do what your trained to do. You can't be scared of the pain either. Most fighters shut down the moment they feel pain because their fear overpowers their courage, but you need to remember it's a fight, and you are going to get hurt. If you keep calm, do as your trained, you stand a far better chance then being scared and constantly playing defense and anticipating all of their opponent's attacks, trying not to feel that pain again.

MLK Jr.

I think he means when we stop caring or don't do anything about what's really important, humanity will end. Or maybe that's just how I see it. But either way I think that's true and that's what I got out of it. Such as right now, just about everyone has a hold of nuclear weapons, and honestly it's a surprise no one has used them yet. Maybe humanity is just barely smart enough to know what would happen is anyone were to use these. But the moment anyone does, it's over. The world I mean. I'm honestly just waiting til the day it happens. Because it probably will eventually. Humanity should not be given such power, yet we do. So far we are smart enough to not use it, but how much longer will that last?

Current Events: Military Failure

4 Americans ambassadors were killed in Washington due to a terrorist attack because the military did not have enough time to cover the distance they were to save these americans. Panetta defended the militarys' failure, saying it is not their fault. Here's what I think; It may not be the militarys' fault, but why was washington not defended in the first place? Especially since 6 months prior to the attack, they had recieved 281 threats of an attack. I think the military should have taken these threats a little bit more seriously then they actually did. They could have saved those lives, but at the same time they still were able to respond to the attack, just they didnt have enough time to show up on time. I think this could have easily been prevented, and hopefully in the future the military doesnt make a mistake like this again.

St. Francis on compassion

This quote reminds me of murders and serial killers. Reason being is because most mass muderers and serial killers start of killing animals for fun, then eventually to go to humans and start killing their own species. It's messed up, but it also makes sense. I do not kill animals, or even harm them in anyway. I love animals, especially cats. I don't know how to get people to stop torturing animals nor do I know how to get people to stop killing people. I guess for those murderers they just have the urge to want to do it, like an instinct or something, and you can't take it out of them. I guess some people won't change though.

Gandhi

This quote is definetely something I would expect Gandhi to say. I personally don't believe in praying for I do not believe in a religion, but in this case he could mean more then just praying to a god. He could just mean praying to himself or meditating. He is a pacifist so of course his greatest weapon would be something nonviolent, but that's ok because I agree with that. I think diplomacy will get everybody farther in life and in this world then war and violence. But even the world's greatest countries, even america, can be immature and succumb to the temptation of war. I guess it's in human nature, but Gandhi has proven we don't have to be that way. But the world has been like this since the begining of time, and I doubt it would change now. Eventually war will kill us all, unless everyone became like Gandhi, but like I said I doubt that would happen. It's only a matter of time.
